What makes Assured Assistance different from other companies?

How are Caregivers selected?
Once Assured Assistance accepts an application, we begin a detailed process to confirm the applicant’s skills and genuine passion for caregiving. In addition, we look for individuals who truly love this work rather than those simply seeking a job. After a thorough process that includes a face-to-face interview, professional and personal references, and a PA criminal background check, we bring a Caregiver on board.
What is the training process for Caregivers?
Assured Assistance trains our Caregivers through in‑office teaching and hands‑on, on‑the‑job instruction with skilled team members. This approach ensures the safety and satisfaction of every client. Our Caregivers learn all aspects of non‑medical home care, including showering, bathing, dressing, memory care, and emotional support. The long and short of it…If we do not want this person in our home, we will not be sending them to yours.
Is Assured Assistance reliable?
It is our policy to maintain consistency with the Caregiver’s provided instructions. It is important to ensure you feel comfortable and do not have to worry about a new face every day. That being said, it is the policy of Assured Assistance to cross-train Caregivers so they are familiar with a few clients in case ‘life’ happens and a substitute is needed. Our clients should know that another Caregiver will be available to meet their needs.
What happens if I need to change my schedule?
An Assured Assistance office staff member is on-call 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. We do not outsource an answering service; nor will you have to wait for a response until ‘business hours.’ Whoever is on-call is familiar with all our clients, their needs, and our Caregivers, ensuring your expectations are always met.
Do caregivers assist in nursing homes or personal care facilities?
Yes! Assured Assistance caregivers are absolutely able to help in facilities. We provide emotional support, companionship, and supplemental hands-on assistance to residents of a long-term care facility. A benefit of this service is that it provides the extra one-on-one time that facility staff may not have time for. We currently have compassionate Caregivers at almost all the most prominent long-term care facilities in the area.
Do you provide live-in Caregivers?
No, Assured Assistance believes the best care comes from Caregivers who stay rested and refreshed. Assured Assistance can provide exceptional care to clients from 3 hours a day to 24 hours around the clock by scheduling shifts of 6-12 hours, depending on the client’s needs.
